PREACH THE FULL GOSPEL

PREACH THE FULL MESSAGE – REPENTANCE AND REMISSION OF SINS IN CHRIST

GROW IN GRACE

Our message is redemption in Christ because it was sin that tried to change what God has planned and ordained. Repentance is to turn. Why such message? God told Adam in the Garden of Eden that the day you eat of the tree of knowledge of good and evil you shall die. Man ate and from then man died. Well, the main issue is that Sin came into this world and led to sins. The soul that sinneth shall die. For this to be erased, a pure blood has to be sacrificed. Note that the Lamb has been slain before the foundation of the world. The solution for Sin is SON. It is possible that the devil knows this and when Jesus came to earth with His blood, Satan knew that it was over. So it is very important that people know that the price is paid and God has forgiven us by Christ Jesus. Note that we are the object of God’s love as He loved the Son Jesus Christ. So the real battle is between God and Satan one coming to try to destroy the object of God’s love through sin which Satan knows that God hates and the other is God Himself by Jesus Christ, the SON whose love has surpassed whatever seed of sin that has been sown. So it is between the seed of evil and death called sin and the Seed of Holiness called Son of God. We are just in the middle. God has not changed His mind concerning us. So we have to preach that men are forgiven and they can now turn or come to the Lord or better still that God by Himself has drawn us back into His presence by Jesus Christ. We need to preach Christ only because when we preach what we do or achieve, we stray more and more subtly from the Gospel of Christ to ourselves and our achievements and what we did and how we did it to achieve what we have now which we call testimonies but our testimony should be the testimony of God about his Son who he sent to deliver us, the whole world and translate us into His Kingdom. When we repent we turn our back on what we used to do and face the other direction in this case Christ. Some of our character might not change drastically but as we hang out with Christ in fellowship through His word and by the help of His Spirit, our hunger for Him increase and desire to do evil dies out gradually. So we are changed from glory to glory as we follow in the direction of Christ. This is sometimes an issue because sometimes we can condemn ourselves when something we thought we had dealt with rears its ugly head eg anger, sulking, gossiping etc. The fact that it occurred to you at all means that you are alive to doing good or righteousness, so you just ask for forgiveness and the help of the Holy Spirit to overcome in that area. Apart from Christ you can do nothing. When you are aware of this then as you are being transformed from glory to glory you have boldness to continue to preach Christ at whatever stage. One reason we do not preach the gospel is because of selfishness which can be really subtle. For example, because you do not have a car, you look at those who have cars and you begin to look down on yourself and therefore you feel you cannot preach to the person who has a Mercedes Benz. This is common in Africa where everything is about status and because we do not preach the full Gospel which MUST include some sufferings (oouucchh, I can hear you say, saints don’t like that at all) with Christ, the Gospel is skewed towards the externals. Paul told Timothy, “endure afflictions” and while at it, he said “do the work of an evangelist”. This refers to every believer. The good news is Jesus not you. You are bad news any day! Jesus is good news every day. We are good news because of Jesus. So preach the gospel of remission and repentance daily even in the midst of afflictions which are temporary anyway. Satan tries to silence us with afflictions and buffetings but Jesus has overcome him. Jesus already said that in the world we will have trouble but He also said that HE (not you) has overcome the world. Our overcoming trials and temptation in the world is by Jesus Christ. The apostles preached through many persecutions but we want to preach through much affluence and influence. So we breed a microwave generation who must have everything as a show of spirituality, then they can be bold to preach. Meanwhile, the Lord is telling us preach the gospel all the time whether you feel up or down, when everything is working well and when they are not. God says, I am in control whatever the weather so go in my name and tell about me, not in your name and tell about yourself. If you have not been through suffering with Christ, you have no message. It does not matter whether you were born with a silver spoon or paper spoon. If you are of silver spoon heritage, the Lord has to strip you of all the vanity you trusted in – cars, houses, money etc so you can trust Him. If you were born with paper spoon or no spoon at all and you have been poor all your life, the Lord will have to strip you of your poverty mentality and show you the true riches – Christ. When you have experienced such mercies you cannot shut up. You will preach Christ until you go from this earth. If you have not received Jesus as your Lord and saviour, do so today and be born again.

Luke 24:45-48:

45Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures,

46And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behooved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day:

47And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.

48And ye are witnesses of these things.

2 Timothy 4

1I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;

2Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine.

3For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;

4And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

5But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.

TRUST GOD ALWAYS

TRUST GOD AND FOLLOW HIM

GROW IN GRACE

From Sam-Best Ewruje, an able minister of the New Testament, not of man nor by man, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but by the will of God through the Grace and Mercy of Christ given unto me. Abundance of Grace and Gift of righteousness by Grace be unto you in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

All I want is what the Lord wants for me nothing more nothing less because what He has for me is more than man or woman or mind can conceive on earth here. The more I read Exodus 14, the more I see the need to follow the Lord or walk with Him through thick and thin. We need to trust God always and believe that He is in control and not relate to God based on our circumstances or any other ground. We need to read the whole of Exodus 14 to get clarity of this. Exodus 14 helps us learn that God is in control. It was His original plan to bring out His children from Egypt even before they were born or even taken to Egypt. In the same way Salvation is His plan for us and the after math of it what Paul called “things that accompany salvation”.  That is the word, there are things that accompany salvation as God has planned it. As 21st Century believers, we don’t like going through. I have discovered by the help of the Lord to look for the EYE OF THE STORM – ie to find God whatever befalls me. What the world calls good and bad or good and evil may be different from how the Lord sees it or uses that situation. For instance, Rehab a prostitute, Ruth descendant of incestuous tribe are all evil in man’s eyes but Jesus came from such genes or better still, Jesus refined or renewed those genes!! God always let us know that His ways are not ours. For example, God says, in the body, He bestows more importance to the secret or what we call private parts and human beings do that as well. For instance if you do not wipe your bum well, you will smell everywhere, it does not matter how much you cream your face. No one will notice by your appearance whether you cleaned your bum or not. Sometimes we always look at the man on the pulpit meanwhile there are people who are making sure that the microphone work well or that the toilets are cleaned. We hardly honour such because they are in the background. Again, God or Jesus says do not rejoice that the demons are subject to you but rejoice that your names are written in the book of Life but when we cast out one devil, it becomes a platform for the ministry of deliverance and people are dancing on that. All that is good but I am just trying to let in on the fact that God does not focus on the externals which human flesh loves so much but he looks at the heart. So if we are patient to read Exodus 14, the Lord will give us insight. The Lord had already purposed in Himself that He will harden Pharaoh’s heart to pursue even harder but He also affirms a couple of times that He will show Himself to the enemy, not only that but He will get Himself honour on Pharaoh and all his enemies. This fight has nothing to do with Moses or the other million or more people. It was about the Covenant God made with Abraham 400 years before. So I am saying with or without Moses or the other millions, God already made up His mind to set His children free after 400 years and if Moses will not go at the time, God would have done it one way or the other because He purposed it and nothing can thwart that plan. This is important because we always think that our ten-point agenda or 50 ways plan earned us the blessing but God says that all our efforts to meet His criteria for Him to do things for us or with us ie our own righteousness are as filthy rags. He, the clean, Holy God is our righteousness. Now as we near the end of Exodus 14, we see that God lived to His word. At the end you will see that it is not because the Red Sea opened that the children of Israel were saved. Verse 19 and 20 of Exodus 14 says that ever before Moses stretched forth his rod and the red sea parted, the Lord had already moved from in front of the camp of the children of Israel and came behind them and formed a pillar of cloud between the camp of Israel and the army of Egypt. Praise the Lord. Not only was there a wall of cloud, the Bible says one did not come near the other. Halleluya! God completely separated and protected them with His glory. Not just separate them, the cloud was darkness to the Egyptians but it was light to the children of Israel – Amazing Grace!! However, the children of Israel were looking at the physical. If they had looked to the God who delivered them in the first place, they would have just entered rest and walked on as if nothing was happening oblivious of the Egyptians because the Lord had already moved to protect them. Picture the Egyptians or enemies pursuing and suddenly darkness came. Imagine their confusion already ever before the Red Sea event that they could not see the people they were pursuing. It was darkness to them so they could not see the children of Israel. However it was light to the children of Israel. They could see the enemy, the enemy could not see them but they did not know it that the enemy could not see them. Wow!! Halleluya!! They did not trust God and hence did not bother to look for the eye of the storm or the peak of the mountain or the bigger picture of God. They were afraid, ready to crucify Moses. Sometimes, when we are in certain situation, the enemy sometimes think “they are trapped” and plan heavily to steal, kill and destroy. The same things happen to us. We assume it is a see-saw game. We assume the devil knows God’s plan for us and he is trying to fight our destiny. That may be true but because of the glory of God, Satan cannot really understand God’s plan. The Lord is in control and He orchestrates everything and sometimes make the devil think that we are weak and helpless not knowing our helper the Holy Spirit is right here with us. He orchestrate things in such a way that at the end He gets all the glory. While the Lord is at work, it may sometimes be uncomfortable for our flesh so we go into a frenzy in what we call WARFARE because of our circumstances and the Lord is right there with us. As I was meditating on this God showed me something else in the word when Jesus gave instruction that “let us go OVER the other side”. He said that and went to sleep. He was in the boat with them and asleep. He had spoken the word. The disciples knew that His word is final. The inner rest of looking unto God from a transformed mind that trusts God always should be our ultimate. So it is not because the storm stopped that they got over to the other side but because Jesus had said it. He has spoken the word and it will not return void. They are going over with the Master storm or no storm. He makes the storm and the waves and their roars. He made the elements. So like us in our circumstances, they went into frenzy of prayers, calling the master in panic and Jesus Christ stilled the storm and later questioned them – Where is your faith? He did not still the storm so they could get to the other side No! His word that upholds all things would have carried them even with the storm faster to the other side. See such example in Paul. Paul while shipping to Rome encountered a heavy storm called Euroclydon, but He said that the Lord told him that they will all be saved and told those with him to eat and not be sad. The storm did not cease, but took them to “snake Island” where the Lord did even greater miracles. Unlike the disciples in the boat Paul said “I know whom I have believed that it shall be as it was TOLD me”. So the Lord was asking the disciple in the boat “where is your faith”? “Is it in the external events around you or in me and the word I have spoken? Let us trust God and put our faith in Him, in His word and what He is doing. Eventually, we will prevail over all our enemies by the hand of the Lord Himself not what we figured out. As it is written – “Lean not unto your OWN understanding of the matter or situation – TRUST GOD and His Son Jesus Christ that He has planned things before we were born and as we walk with him daily, things will fall in place.

Exodus 14

1And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

2Speak unto the children of Israel, that they turn and encamp before Pihahiroth (mouth of water), between Migdol (tower or rostrum or pulpit) and the sea, over against Baalzephon (Lord of the north): before it shall ye encamp by the sea. (No wonder they say between the devil and the red sea, The Lord used deception on the enemy, He positioned His people in a way that will make the enemy think that they are weak and helpless)

3For Pharaoh will say of the children of Israel, They are entangled in the land, the wilderness hath shut them in.

4And I will harden Pharaoh’s heart, that he shall follow after them; and I will be honoured upon Pharaoh, and upon all his host; that the Egyptians may know that I am the LORD. And they did so. (God will get Himself honour, He knows what to do through us and in us to get Him honour over all our enemies that trouble us concerning his plan)

5And it was told the king of Egypt that the people fled: and the heart of Pharaoh and of his servants was turned against the people, and they said, Why have we done this, that we have let Israel go from serving us?

6And he made ready his chariot, and took his people with him:

7And he took six hundred chosen chariots, and all the chariots of Egypt, and captains over every one of them.

8And the LORD hardened the heart of Pharaoh king of Egypt, and he pursued after the children of Israel: and the children of Israel went out with an high hand.

9But the Egyptians pursued after them, all the horses and chariots of Pharaoh, and his horsemen, and his army, and overtook them encamping by the sea, beside Pihahiroth, before Baalzephon.

10And when Pharaoh drew nigh, the children of Israel lifted up their eyes, and, behold, the Egyptians marched after them; and they were sore afraid: and the children of Israel cried out unto the LORD.

11And they said unto Moses, Because there were no graves in Egypt, hast thou taken us away to die in the wilderness? wherefore hast thou dealt thus with us, to carry us forth out of Egypt?

12Is not this the word that we did tell thee in Egypt, saying, Let us alone, that we may serve the Egyptians? For it had been better for us to serve the Egyptians, than that we should die in the wilderness.

13And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever.

14The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.

15And the LORD said unto Moses, Wherefore criest thou unto me? speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward:

16But lift thou up thy rod, and stretch out thine hand over the sea, and divide it: and the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea.

17And I, behold, I will harden the hearts of the Egyptians, and they shall follow them: and I will get me honour upon Pharaoh, and upon all his host, upon his chariots, and upon his horsemen.

18And the Egyptians shall know that I am the LORD, when I have gotten me honour upon Pharaoh, upon his chariots, and upon his horsemen.

19And the angel of God, which went before the camp of Israel, removed and went behind them; and the pillar of the cloud went from before their face, and stood behind them:

20And it came between the camp of the Egyptians and the camp of Israel; and it was a cloud and darkness to them, but it gave light by night to these: so that the one came not near the other all the night.

21And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the LORD caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea dry land, and the waters were divided.

22And the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea upon the dry ground: and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left.

23And the Egyptians pursued, and went in after them to the midst of the sea, even all Pharaoh’s horses, his chariots, and his horsemen.

24And it came to pass, that in the morning watch the LORD looked unto the host of the Egyptians through the pillar of fire and of the cloud, and troubled the host of the Egyptians,

25And took off their chariot wheels, that they drave them heavily: so that the Egyptians said, Let us flee from the face of Israel; for the LORD fighteth for them against the Egyptians.

26And the LORD said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand over the sea, that the waters may come again upon the Egyptians, upon their chariots, and upon their horsemen.

27And Moses stretched forth his hand over the sea, and the sea returned to his strength when the morning appeared; and the Egyptians fled against it; and the LORD overthrew the Egyptians in the midst of the sea.

28And the waters returned, and covered the chariots, and the horsemen, and all the host of Pharaoh that came into the sea after them; there remained not so much as one of them.

29But the children of Israel walked upon dry land in the midst of the sea; and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left.

30Thus the LORD saved Israel that day out of the hand of the Egyptians; and Israel saw the Egyptians dead upon the sea shore.

31And Israel saw that great work which the LORD did upon the Egyptians: and the people feared the LORD, and believed the LORD, and his servant Moses.

Luke 8

22Now it came to pass on a certain day, that he went into a ship with his disciples: and he said unto them, Let us go over unto the other side of the lake. And they launched forth.

23But as they sailed he fell asleep: and there came down a storm of wind on the lake; and they were filled with water, and were in jeopardy.

24And they came to him, and awoke him, saying, Master, master, we perish. Then he arose, and rebuked the wind and the raging of the water: and they ceased, and there was a calm.

25And he said unto them, Where is your faith? And they being afraid wondered, saying one to another, What manner of man is this! for he commandeth even the winds and water, and they obey him.

26And they arrived at the country of the Gadarenes, which is over against Galilee.

EXTRAVAGANT GRACE

GRACE OVER AND ABOVE

GROW IN GRACE

From Sam-Best Ewruje, an able minister of the New Testament, not of man nor by man, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but by the will of God through the Grace and Mercy of Christ given unto me. Abundance of Grace and Gift of righteousness by Grace be unto you in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Whatever you have done, wherever you have been, His grace is more than enough as Paul was trying to explain in 1 Tim chapter 1. Paul was a man who has done unspeakable things not just to any man but to the special people of God, believers, Christians and saints. In ancient times, when they say put someone to death, they device the most painful and slow way eg crucifixion, stoning until dead, burning alive, burying alive, throwing to the lions, wild animals, crocodiles and alligators, skinning alive, treating them like kebab etc and making it very public as a deterrent to others. Paul would be there to watch. So he had power, influence, knowledge and affluence. He was feared, like an executioner. Paul recounted all these experiences and concluded that the Grace of God was exceeding abundant, more than the “heavy sins” he had committed, especially murdering the people of God. He said, but “I obtained mercy”. When we hear the word mercy, we immediately think that it is to get us out of trouble. Far from it. Mercy is a powerful force that made the universe. It is the grace and mercy of God that will make us to become what the Lord has planned for us to be. This process is not going to be pleasant initially but at the end we will look back and give glory to God. So whatever you have done or been through, the Lord has much more abundant grace over all your guilt, shame and inadequacies. Peter said do not think it strange when you face fiery trials. However, because of the goody, goody gospel we preach devoid of identifying with the sufferings of Christ, we create a microwave generation who just want the outcome and not the process. Jesus said if you want to follow me, take up your cross and follow. Many of us want to follow Jesus without the cross but that is not what Jesus said. We have to let Christians and others grow in grace. Just because someone is going through does not mean they are demons or devils. We are quick to discern but what most people call discernment is actually witch hunting. You know why, they do not discern in love to restore a person. They “discern” to ostracise, separate, exclude and divide. Discernment is part of the gift of the Spirit and it is operated in the love of God so that it can help the body of Christ and restore His people. The highest discernment is that of Jesus and Judas. In spite of all that, Jesus did not demote him, He did not take the treasury from him, He did expel Judas, He did not drive him out as a devil or stumbling block, He was not threatened at all because He knew who He was and whose He was. Rather Jesus loved Him to the death. He even ate with Him because Jesus knew His purpose. He knew that Judas cannot kill Him by poisoning His food. He knew He was the Messiah and it has to be by the cross. Can you imagine that in our church today, not at all. I have often said that if Paul was in our generation, he would have been thrown out of the Church. Paul did many miracles but he was always in trouble, not little ones but major jam with people and authorities because of his preaching of Christ. Even Jesus may have been thrown out if he came in the flesh. Can you imagine in today’s church, Jesus sitting in front with the Bishops and a known prostitute from the street runs in front and kisses Him rubbing her hair on the feet of Jesus, I think the ushers will throw a fit and rush her out and also see Jesus as being a weak Christian for allowing a prostitute to even come near Him. Jesus on occasion discerned the devil speaking through Peter and more seriously in Judas but at no time did Jesus even demote him let alone drive him from His team. Wow! Praise the Lord. Nothing threatened Him because He knew who He was in God. Jesus put absolute trust in the Father and the Father’s plan. No devil or person was going to derail Him from God’s plan because He knew that God orchestrates all things. Can you relate this to today’s church. We are to follow Jesus! Can you imagine a Pastor in this generation that God will show him someone in his leadership planning to overthrow him, that will be the end of that person not only in leadership but in the church. This is what Paul was trying to stress because most people did not believe in Paul’s conversion initially so you see Paul having to explain himself to people, to rulers and even to believers just because of his past not for justification but for illumination. It is God that justifies. Both Paul and Peter conclude that, God’s grace and mercy on us will help us endure afflictions and learn all longsuffering, but we hardly preach this full gospel. Rather we preach how God is going to bring you out and the people are also finding ways to come out of situations with any hint of sufferings. Even James said you should count it all joy whether it is you that walked into it or it is the Lord that led you or if the devil or a person landed you in a hard place, count it all joy because God will work in you and you will eventually end up right bang in the middle of His plan and destiny for your life. Let us trust and rely on the abundance of the grace of God over and above anything that the devil or humans might throw at us. God has a plan and He will ensure it – Amen! Jesus, I place you in the highest place. Why don’t you receive the free Grace and give your life to Christ today by accepting His Gracious sacrifice and be saved.

1 Timothy 1

12And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry;

13Who was before a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious: but I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief.

14And the grace of our Lord was exceeding abundant with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.

15This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.

16Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might shew forth all longsuffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting.

17Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen.

1 Peter 4

12Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:

13But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.

14If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified.

REVIVAL FIRE UK

LOOSEN UP UK BURNING REVIVAL FIRE IS HERE

REVIVAL UK

From Sam-Best Ewruje, an able minister of the New Testament, not of man nor by man, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but by the will of God through the Grace and Mercy of Christ given unto me. Abundance of Grace and Gift of righteousness by Grace be unto you in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Today is 10 August 2011. Over the past 3 days there have been riots all over the United Kingdom especially in cities. These stealing, killing and destructive fires are evil works of Satan and his cohorts. However I will rather look at what the Lord is doing. I believe that the Lord Himself is ready to light up the United Kingdom and indeed the British Isle with the life giving, peaceful restoring fire of the Holy Spirit in His Love and Mercy. Jesus said, the thief comes only to steal, kill and destroy but He says I come to give LIFE and give it more abundantly.

John 10:10:

10The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

Politicians are spitting fire but never say what exactly they are going to do. Those who perpetrate evil do so most times because they know they will get away with it. Some of those arrested may have done it often times. The police, probation, courts and prison even know them. Even the police cells are full. The politicians have not said exactly what they will do to prevent such recurrence. It happens in small pockets on a daily basis. People are menacing, threatening, killing and terrorising others on a daily basis. Gangs run our streets daily and it looks like they are getting away with it and nothing anyone can do but sometimes just hide in your homes. We all know that. The bigger picture we see are the tiny pockets happening daily in our streets. They have been getting away with such, but the current national outburst is just an opportunity to amplify what is already happening at the grass roots which have not been dealt with over the years.

The good thing is that suddenly the church is beginning to realise that we have a huge responsibility in this. There is clarion call everywhere for people to come and pray. However, I do not think this fire brigade approach is what God has called us to. As Christians, we are to passionately pray for the Government, all people, the nations on a daily basis. No special meetings or waiting for crisis but regularly and daily crying to God for the nation. God has given great responsibility to the Church to be in warfare not for our corners but the nation. This is our land. It is a choice. God wants us to pray for peace and healing in the land. When the whole land prospers, we will enjoy it, our children will enjoy it. Let this current crisis open our eyes to see that when the whole land suffers, even if it does not affect us directly it affects us indirectly. For instance, why pray for your family alone, why not pray for all families, all children, all youths knowing that they are our children, our youths etc. That can go for anything. For instance if you do not have a job, why not pray for jobs for all and when God answers, you will have a job, your children will have a job etc. The Bible says that the husbandman who is labouring will be the first partaker of the fruit. If you are barren, why not pray for all barren women.

2 Chronicles 7:14:

14If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. (NOTE: GOD SAYS IT IS US WHO WILL TURN FRO OUR SELFISH WICKED WAYS AND SEEK GOD FRO THE LAND)

Jeremiah 29:7:

7And seek the peace of the city whither I have caused you to be carried away captives, and pray unto the LORD for it: for in the peace thereof shall ye have peace. (Often we pray for our own captivity rather than the city or nation – There is the solution right here in this verse) Seek means daily yearning, your agenda that is what you desire most in your innermost heart. Seeking after our own captivity is so entrenched in the heart of saints now that it takes God’s grace to drive home this simple truth because of goody, goody soothing sermons)

Matthew 21:13

And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves.

Isaiah 56:7

Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people.

That the church is gathering to pray now is a very good thing but let us make this a wake up or clarion call to make this a regular SERIOUS agenda in the church away from our selfish frenzy to fight our corners which we call warfare.
As it is written My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations (all people). We are the house of God individually and corporately. When we take on God’s territorial agenda, He automatically releases the blessings on all of us. If a nation’s army is going to war, that nation is responsible for the victuals or needs of the army whether spiritual or otherwise including personal needs. Men and brethren, personal needs which God says are additions according to Mathew 6:33 (very clear and simple) are what we have pursued and prayed vigorously and passionately on for years and we continue to do so leaving God’s agenda. I have emphasised certain things in the Scripture below

Matthew 6

24No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

25Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?

31Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?

32(For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. (Automatic blessing as we seek God)

33But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and ALL THESE THINGS SHALL BE ADDED UNTO YOU. (We minister have not allowed this truth to sink into the body of Christ because of our goody soothing gospel we preach)

34Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. (In a nut shell seek God and His kingdom daily and leave all the hassle to God)

It is time for the full and true gospel of the Kingdom which is that God wants His peace and loving influence around us, those around us  and in the nations. We are heaven’s ambassadors to promote heaven’s agenda not ours. We must take our stand. The weapons of our warfare are not visible to the eyes but they are mighty through God. It is time to do away with personal selfish agenda. We cannot afford to sleep or keep our corners as watchmen when beasts are devouring the land. Wake up!!

Isaiah 56

9All ye beasts of the field, come to devour, yea, all ye beasts in the forest.

10His watchmen are blind: they are all ignorant, they are all dumb dogs, they cannot bark; sleeping, lying down, loving to slumber.

11Yea, they are greedy dogs which can never have enough, and they are shepherds that cannot understand: they all look to their own way, every one for his gain, from his quarter.

12Come ye, say they, I will fetch wine, and we will fill ourselves with strong drink; and to morrow shall be as this day, and much more abundant.

No special meetings or waiting for crisis to pray for our nations but a regular passionate daily cries to God until we see a whole nation turn to Christ, this is why I believe our fervency God has given us by His grace especially immigrants is for the nations where we are now. We have PUSHED until something happened to us now it is time to PUSH until it happens to a nation and all people. Yes we can. We can do all things through Christ.
This year makes 400 years of the KJV version of the Bible from Hampton Court and it is prophetic like Biblical Egypt and I believe and feel the Lord is ready to speak to every spiritual pharaoh through the Church at such a time like this – “Let my people go that they may worship me”. United Kingdom was built on Christian principles. The Lord will bring the politicians to their knees until they realise that they have to open the doors to Christ again and the nation begin to return to the legacy of their fathers – THE WORD and CHRIST, which has been neglected for years.
Even the anthem says it all. God will indeed save the Queen and all the people of this land, United Kingdom and the British Isles from any terror but we need to cry to the God of heaven.

We pray that the altars be brought back to the schools, prayers, the Bible, Godly assemblies etc to be restored so we can raise Godly youths who have the fear of God. We are not perfect but we can say that schools in which such Christian principles are practiced do well both morally and academically. I cannot speak for other faith because I do not have such competence.

We pray that the restoring life giving fire of the Holy Spirit sweep across the land in revival fire outbursts all over the nation to replace these stealing, killing and destructive strange fires Satan and his cohorts are lighting all over the land. This is our land. It is time the Church takes responsibility. Every place where the soles of our feet have treaded, God has given unto us to cherish, cover with prayer and enjoy in peace. This nation is our responsibility. Every day is a day of prayer for this nation and the government.
Let us pray, fast and speak good always for the land and according to 2 Chronicles 7:14, the Lord wants the land healed, not just our corners.
God bless you for setting aside time to pray for ALL people and the nation and let this be our eternal goal not just a crisis intervention plan – a nation or a people of God seeking God’s goodness and peace for all other nations of the world wherever we are. As a nation or people of God we already have Jesus who is the peace and goodness of God unto us and God’s delight and our desire is that other nations enjoy what we have.

1 Timothy 2

1I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; (THERE IT IS AGAIN – GOD SAYS FIRST OF ALL)

2For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.

3For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;

4Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. (THE REASON WE PRAY FOR ALL IS THAT GOD WANTS ALL MEN SAVED)
