Ye shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free

BIBLICAL LAWS JESUS SHOWED THE DISCIPLES ABOUT FOOD THAT WILL AMAZE YOU

We will have to go line upon line precept upon precept to get it. This ensued from a scenario when the Pharisees condemned the disciple for eating without washing their hands.

Matthew 15

¹⁰And he called the multitude, and said unto them, Hear, and understand:

NOTE: THIS MESSAGE IS FOR PUBLIC CONSUMPTION!!! He spoke to the multitude not disciples or some special groups. He spoke to those who may not be able to afford healthy foods. THIS IS GRACE IN ACTION. GOD is Grace On Duty.

¹¹Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man.

¹²Then came his disciples, and said unto him, Knowest thou that the Pharisees were offended, after they heard this saying?

Now, this still happens today to try to dispel the message of the extravagant grace of God. No grace, no salvation. Some today still get offended at the message of GRACE in Christ because they feel it encourages people to do what they like. NO!! It is only grace and not your will power that will help you overcome any vice or sin. Grace also enables you to do God’s will. Not only that, where sin abound, grace much more abound ie Grace will be so much that it will be stronger than any sin or vice when you trust God. Grace is the message that the bible asked us to constantly affirm (Titus 3:1-8) but it is the least preached or taught today but the Church is coming back to basics. Instead, we spend all our time preaching works and legalism eg 10 ways, 13 steps to getting things from God or 14 ways to holiness etc

¹³But he answered and said, Every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up.

¹⁴Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.

Note plant not plants. Without grace, most things will be impure, dark and blinding. The gospel without grace  brings legalism. It is either the plant of grace or the plant of works. Now see the perpetual GRACE Jesus laid down about food and drink including poisons. I believe this is why our Lord said if you mistakenly take in poison or any deadly thing, it will not harm you because He made that perpetual spiritual decree that altereth not and cannot fail. We need understanding here.

¹⁵Then answered Peter and said unto him, Declare unto us this parable.

¹⁶And Jesus said, Are ye also yet without understanding?

¹⁷Do not ye yet understand, that whatsoever entereth in at the mouth goeth into the belly, and is cast out into the draught?

Peter as usual wanted to understand better how something can enter the body and not defile it – I don’t know, ask Jesus as Peter did, but I take this word hook, line and sinker! You also just do the same. Vs 17 says WHATSOEVER ………………. is CAST OUT. So every excess food you think you have eaten that will defile your body, make you fat or ugly, Jesus says it is cast out. Have faith and trust Him. If he said it then it is so. That is not to say you should be greedy or over eat, but that grace is there for you to be at peace to eat what our God has created to be eating freely.

¹⁸But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man.

Now get the understanding here. Jesus places more emphasis on the words we speak from our mouth than what we eat. It is the words ( I am fat, there is too much fat here, I am short, my breast is not big enough, I am too tall, too fat, too thin etc) that is the major problem. Jesus says such things come from your heart which has not been renewed by the word I AM FEARFULLY AND WONDERFULLY MADE. If it is not the word of grace, then it is evil thoughts, don’t say them!!! Do not take the thoughts and say them even when outward evidence is contrary!! Whom the Son set free is free indeed – Glory to God!

¹⁹For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies:

²⁰These are the things which defile a man: but to eat with unwashen hands defileth not a man.

Halleluya. How can you neglect so great a salvation! If you are not saved, why don’t you receive what Jesus says.

Ye shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free

You can diet and exercise but I beg you in the mercies of God, do not use it as important doctrinal matter. A Christian who is hungry for God, waiting on the Lord in fasting and prayer will not only renew their strength and reap the benefit of 1 Tim 4:8 but according to Psalm 103, God will renew his or her youth like the eagle. Also, this disciplines the flesh and therefore stops you from indulging in gluttony or letting food dominate you. Note that some illness like Diabetes can cause people to eat much more than they should normally consume. We pray for deliverance and healing from this but do not stand in condemnation if you have diabetes. God will help you. However many times, we try to solve spiritual matters by the flesh. Note from 1 Tim 4:8 says that when you fellowship with the Lord daily, it profit unto ALL things including weight problem which bodily exercise can do little about. Paul knows what he is talking about because in the ancient days of gladiators and strong men, well built muscular and strong men are a relish and they can spend considerable time training to acquire big muscles. However spiritual exercise during the day, wherever you are and whatever you are doing will take care of even your diet and weight issues.

EVERY CREATION OF GOD IS GOOD. Let no man, whatever calibre deceives you. All foods that have been identified are good but you do not have to eat all things. If you feel that you cannot eat something try not using it as a yardstick for all others or go condemning those who eat what you have chosen not to eat. However, eat with thanksgiving to God before and after meal or drinks if you can. I have put 1 Timothy 4:1-8 in KJV, Message and Amplified for people to emphasise and make clear the salient truth about diet and gym. Note that God’s ways in Christ are foolishness to worldly wisdom. To the pure all things are pure. So walk by faith, not by sight. Wait for Phase 3

1 Timothy 4:1-8 - KJV

¹Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;

²Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;

³Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.

⁴For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving:

⁵For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.

⁶If thou put the brethren in remembrance of these things, thou shalt be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourished up in the words of faith and of good doctrine, whereunto thou hast attained.

⁷But refuse profane and old wives’ fables, and exercise thyself rather unto godliness.

⁸For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.

⁹This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptation.

1 Timothy 4:1-8 – The Message Bible

^{1 -5}The Spirit makes it clear that as time goes on, some are going to give up on the faith and chase after demonic illusions put forth by professional liars. These liars have lied so well and for so long that they’ve lost their capacity for truth. They will tell you not to get married. They’ll tell you not to eat this or that food—perfectly good food God created to be eaten heartily and with thanksgiving by believers who know better!!! Everything God created is good, and to be received with thanks. Nothing is to be sneered at and thrown out. God’s Word and our prayers make every item in creation holy.

^{6 -10}You’ve been raised on the Message of the faith and have followed sound teaching. Now pass on this counsel to the followers of Jesus there, and you’ll be a good servant of Jesus. Stay clear of silly stories that get dressed up as religion. Exercise daily in God—no spiritual flabbiness, please! Workouts in the gymnasium are useful, but a disciplined life in God is far more so, making you fit both today and forever. You can count on this. Take it to heart. This is why we’ve thrown ourselves into this venture so totally. We’re banking on the living God, Savior of all men and women, especially believers.

1 Timothy 4:1-8 - Amplified

¹BUT THE [Holy] Spirit distinctly and expressly declares that in latter times some will turn away from the faith, giving attention to deluding and seducing spirits and doctrines that demons teach,

²Through the hypocrisy and pretensions of liars whose consciences are seared (cauterized),

³Who forbid people to marry and [teach them] to abstain from [certain kinds of] foods which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and have [an increasingly clear] knowledge of the truth.

⁴For everything God has created is good, and nothing is to be thrown away or refused if it is received with thanksgiving.

⁵For it is hallowed and consecrated by the Word of God and by prayer.

⁶If you lay all these instructions before the brethren, you will be a worthy steward and a good minister of Christ Jesus, ever nourishing your own self on the truths of the faith and of the good [Christian] instruction which you have closely followed.

⁷But refuse and avoid irreverent legends (profane and impure and godless fictions, mere grandmothers’ tales) and silly myths, and express your disapproval of them. Train yourself toward godliness (piety), [keeping yourself spiritually fit].

⁸For physical training is of some value (useful for a little), but godliness (spiritual training) is useful and of value in everything and in every way, for it holds promise for the present life and also for the life which is to come.

⁹This saying is reliable and worthy of complete acceptance by everybody.

Praise God! I am not sure why people will so clearly see a picture from the word of God and choose their own interpretation either because of position or influence or status or whatever their position. The word of God is not for private interpretation and cannot be explained away by philosophy or science or psychology or any such things. Please believe what God says and walk in it.

Halleluya. How can you neglect so great a salvation! If you are not saved, why don’t you receive what Jesus says.

FOUNDATION FOR CYBERGOSPEL

Cybergospel is a free media preaching and teaching of the gospel of the Kingdom of God via cyberspace and free of charge. For us to benefit from this series project, CYBERGOSPEL we must have a foundation. The basis for all I will minister to you is the GRACE OF GOD and JESUS CHRIST. So anytime you feel you do not understand just relax and see what I say through the eyes of grace and Jesus Christ and any jig saw will fall into place. If still in doubt, pray to God for understanding. Eventually you will be transformed to a grateful, freed, selfless, thankful, praising and joyful person even when you are alone though you are not because Jesus is with you! To God Be The Glory (TGBTG).

Better still, the Scripture is not of any private interpretation and Peter stressed this very well. It does not matter the level of the person preaching to you or teaching even if they have been to the third heaven or heard audible voice or seen Jesus etc. God wants you to know Him as He wants you to know Him in your time, so check the Scriptures yourself and see if these are true if not send rejoinder or correction in love. God has a plan for you specifically and He wants you to know Him personally along the line of His plan and purpose for you, not as Paul or Mary or Peter or even anyone. CYBERGOSPEL – 1

FOUNDATION FOR SALVATION: THOSE NOT YET CHRISTIANS OR BORN AGAIN:

What is the gospel of Christ: Simply, it says EVERYONE is heading for HELL or eternal damnation because the first man Adam sinned. So it is not what you did or didn’t do, whether good or bad, but what the devil tricked our first forefather Adam, to do. So your good works including praying, giving, kindness or any other thing, cannot save you even if you have not hurt a fly since you were born!! You can never, ever meet the criteria for the salvation of God in your lifetime apart from Christ. We cannot save ourselves. Please let this sink, take a deep breather. Now God made it easy in that Christ paid for all your sins with His blood sacrifice. When you accept Christ the substitute for your sins, you make a U-turn and start heading for heaven. After you receive Christ, then your good works begin to count as rewards in heaven not to earn you salvation or favour with God. Christ is our favour, grace and mercy from God!! Note that Salvation is easy because God made it so but the cost and the punishment was laid on Jesus by God Himself for your sake to restore mankind back to Him. Everyone will eventually have eternal life after death either in hell or in heaven as destination. So who you give your life to or choose in your lifetime on earth determine where you spend eternity, either in heaven with Christ or in hell with the devil!! After you accept Jesus, how you live your life in commitment to God’s purpose determine how you will spend eternity either with great reward or little reward eg rule over city or cities, or live in a mansion or flat as practical examples. However, whatever the case you will be content with your lot because no covetousness nor envy or discontentment in heaven.

Romans 3:23 

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

Romans 5:12 

Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:

Now God Himself provided a way out for man in the person of His Son Jesus Christ. So now EVERYONE who accepts this free gift of Salvation – Jesus is heading for heaven or eternal life. After that your good works like praying, giving, kindness etc begin to count towards a reward in heaven, they do not earn you salvation! Only Christ brings salvation from sin and its consequences.

Romans 5:15

But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.

Romans 6:23

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Acts 4:12  

Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

John 3:16
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

We cannot take anything from this world. The only tangible thing we can take to heaven from this world is a soul. The more souls we have the greater the reward. Glory to God. You do not have to be renowned to evangelise. Circumstances should not prevent your evangelising. It should be a way of life, in season and out of season, whether you feel it or not. We can do it by faith because God said so

Teesside Gospel Festival 2010 held at the Parish Gardens was a Godly success. Lives were touched and people gave their lives to Christ and God was glorified. Dr Mike Sweeting and team from Yorkshire Pastor Louis Olusina from London and Pastor Sam-Best Ewruje ministered. Rev Alan Farish welcome people to Stockton and Parish Gardens. Pastor Albert Cole of all Nations Church graced the event with the All Nations Choir. Various churches and groups including Grace choir, Breakthrough Choir, All nations Church, soloist Rosie, the Youth rap group led by Temitope Sangowawa and Bukky Oladapo, Samuel-Ilori Ewruje leading everyone in the Kingdom Skang. The Stockton Borough Council Town Centre Management were very supportive and erected canopy in case of rain. Dr and Mrs Sade and Tokunbo Sangowawa were on hand and my co-host Dr Solape Adeboye and her husband Dr Kayode Adeboye graced the event. Pastor Phineas was our able cameraman but was all over the place singing and playing instruments. Mrs Carli Murwira showed up with the new addition to the family. Mrs Ochogwu, Yewande Sangowawa held the food stand. I can’t mention all names but all were fantastic. To God be the glory

Just to let you all know that TEGOFEST is coming on fine.

Pls kindly confirm if you as individual, your church, or group or family will be ministering on the day to help us plan.
We also require volunteer for various areas on the day eg ushers, prayer counsellors, leaflet distrbutors, security.
By the grace of God not by might or by power, this year will be more glorious than the last.

We have been given permission for the venue fairly early this year. Also the Lord has sorted the issue of rain because there will be canopies this time – Thank God for His great mercies. If you have any suggestions of how to make this event better and more glorious let us know.
