CYBERGOSPEL
The birth of cyber gospel.
Looking at the history and origin of cybernetics, there are many spiritual connotations. I believe it was birth by divine connection because the Gospel of Jesus Christ can reach multitude in the whole earth through cybernetics –
* Matthew 24:14
And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached IN ALL THE WORLD for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
DEFINITION:
Cybernetics is a word coined by group of scientists led by Norbert Wiener and made popular by Wiener’s book of 1948, Cybernetics or Control and Communication in the Animal and the Machine. Incidentally Israel, God’s own country became a nation in 1948. God controls the universe.
* Hebrews 1:3
Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and UPHOLDING ALL THINGS BY THE WORD OF HIS POWER, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high:
Based on the Greek “kybernetes,” meaning steersman or governor, cybernetics is the science or study of control or regulation mechanisms in human and machine systems, including computers. The spoken word of God is the steersman or governor of man and every situation:
* James 3:4-5
Behold also the ships, which though they be so great, and are driven of fierce winds, yet are they turned about with a very small helm, WHITHERSOEVER THE GOVERNOR LISTETH.
* Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasteth great things. Behold how great a matter a little fire kindleth!

SOME DEFINITIONS
CYBER is: Computer related or computer network e.g. cyber —– (anything –kid, –man, –space etc)
CYBERSPACE is: The electronic medium of computer networks, in which online communication takes place.
CYBERNETICS comes from a Greek word meaning “the art of steering”. Read the whole of James 3.
Cybernetics is about having a GOAL and taking action to achieve that goal.
Knowing whether you have reached your goal (or at least are getting closer to it) requires “feedback“, a concept that comes from cybernetics. The word of God gives us goals and helps us take action to achieve it. Through the word of God we have regular feedback

So then FAITH COMETH BY HEARING, and HEARING BY THE WORD OF GOD.
Cybernetics has been around for a long time. Cybernetics as a concept in society has been around at least since Plato (a Greek philosopher, just like Aristotle) used it to refer to government.
In modern times, the term became widespread because Norbert Wiener (1948) wrote a book called “Cybernetics” – “control and communication in the animal and machine”. This was important because it connects control (actions taken in hope of achieving goals) with communication (connection and information flow between the actor and the environment). So, Wiener is pointing out that effective action requires effective communication.
Philemon 1:6
That the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.
Wiener’s sub-title also states that both animals (biological systems) and machines (non-biological or “artificial” systems) can operate according to cybernetic principles. This was an explicit recognition that both living and non-living systems can have purpose. This initially scary idea in 1948 is real spiritually because God is a living God giving life and purpose to man who was dead (non-living) in sin.
Cybernetics also means VIRTUAL
VIRTUAL refers to a condition without boundaries or constraints. It is often used to define a feature or state that is simulated in some fashion – e.g. This is a typical explanation of faith which is the basis of our relationship with God without the constraints and boundaries of our natural senses. It is like a virtual relationship but when you become a Christian you then discover that faith is the only thing that has substance that you can hold on to in hope than these shifty systems e.g. economic crunch, changing government policies etc

NOW FAITH IS THE SUBSTANCE OF THINGS HOPED FOR, THE EVIDENCE OF THINGS NOT SEEN.
The Purpose of Cybergospel is to preach and teach the Word of God, line by line, precept upon precept, a little here a little there until it spread through cyberspace like fire to transform lives a soul at a time. It will include discussion, counselling and answer to questions relevant to everyday living.
Cyber can be used as prefix to many things e.g. cyber —– (anything –kid, –man, –space etc). We are bringing this back to the Kingdom, to the originator of all wisdom hence the birth of the concept of CYBERGOSPEL – a medium to disseminate the gospel of the kingdom of God
We will be talking about various things from God’s Word, the biblical perspective. As this vision matures, we will be inviting ministers to take various topics. Every aspect will be from the perspective of God’s grace in Christ which underpins the good news of the Kingdom.

Cybergospel – will include Gospel Nuggets, Brief Sermons, Preaching and Teaching e.g.
Cyberchurch – Taking the church beyond the walls eg chat rooms, skype or video interaction with praise worship, prayers and bible study by skype or other audio visual mens via cyberspace and its developed stage will cause to make the salvation of God global – Halleluyah!! Glory to God in the mighty name of Jesus
